A little about me…I have four boys and a wonderfully supportive husband. I was a stay at home mom for nearly 21 years. I’ve always enjoyed creating different things from scrapbooks to painted furniture and everything in between. I had been a vendor at a couple of different shops in the past. Those experiences were great learning opportunities for me, but opening my own store and business has always been a dream of mine. After a lot of answered prayers and opened doors, I was able to open my own store doors at a brick and mortar location on October 18, 2016. When we opened, we mainly had an inventory of vintage, antiques and repurposed pieces both from our inventory and vendors.
After purchasing new family room furniture for my home in the Spring of 2018 I realized the need for a different kind of furniture store for the four states area. We attended furniture market at High Point, NC in October 2018. There we met and fell in love with Ben and Erin Napier…Home Town/Laurel Mercantile Co. We loved their small-town values, the passion they have for making their town shine and bringing Made in America back to the forefront.
Since day one of opening my goal was to help people create a beautiful home. That is still our goal whether you choose something that has been loved a time or two and has a story. Or you choose one of our brand-new pieces to start creating your own story. We would love to help you.
